The time of approaching or impending death, or transition into the astral levels of existence, is one of the most critical in a person's life. It may be that the man or woman, youth or child is aware that their transition is within a few months or a few years time. It is a rich and powerful time of healing the past, practicing in-the-moment awareness and selfless service, learning of your future in the inner worlds, and preparing for it as best as possible.

This process includes learning how to actually have a "spiritual" death as opposed to just a passing over, in which you end up in a somewhat random place that reflects your mind in a more unfocused state. The actual death process is key to the location you travel to in the astral worlds. And, obviously, the more advanced, the better.

Transition guidance also deals with the pain of chronic illness and disability, the states of mind that accompany a dying time: shame, regret, sadness, depression, impending doom.

Philosophical counsel is given, friendship is formed, and a sense of becoming an angel is given to the person facing death. It can be one of the most fulfilling, rewarding and expressive times of an individual's life on Earth.

Behavioral changes may be suggested, ceremonies taught to the individual and done for them at certain routines.
